LFAS offers International students the opportunity to complete the Ministry of Education requirements for graduation from a BC high school while pursuing their passion in one of the Fine Arts areas. LFAS offers Visual Art, Dance, Music, Drama, Photography and Writing as well as the standard high school curriculum for admission into post-Secondary institutions.

Our graduates consistently enter top American, European and Canadian fine art schools such as Rhode Island Institute of Art, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, California Institute of the Arts, Parsons, Maryland Institute College of the Art and Emily Carr just to name a few.

Love the arts but don’t want to pursue it in university? No problem. Many of our students go on to study business, education, engineering and the sciences. Even though students at LFAS take extra art courses, our graduation requirements remain the same as other schools which means our students must be driven, hard working and focused. Accordingly, this means a better learning environment for our students.

Because of its small size, LFAS has a warm friendly atmosphere that allows us to build close relationships with both teachers and other Canadian students. We have 65 international students from Korea, Japan, China, Germany and Mexico. Our comparatively small numbers compared to other schools means a better opportunity to learn English.
