Career Education - Langley Fine Arts School

LFAS Career Centre opens on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8 am to 3 pm in the Counselling office. Students are welcome to visit during school to get information and resources for your Career and Education planning. You may make an appointment with Ms. Ellen Gao the Career Advisor for one-on-one sessions. Appointment Request Form is available at the centre and Ms. Gao can be reached at Egao@sd35.bc.ca

Youth Train in Trades

Students in grade 11 and 12 accepted to participate in one of the Youth TRAIN in Trades programs receive elective credits towards graduation, post-secondary credits, and Industry Training Authority (ITA) technical trades apprenticeship training at the same time.

Youth Work in Trades

The ITA Youth WORK in Trades previously known as Secondary School Apprenticeship program allows students to start their apprenticeship while still in high school. They earn graduation credit and log apprenticeship training hours at the same time. Students can be signed up anytime during the school year.
