Several cities south of the Fraser River are destinations for this Tour as riders trek 800 km northwards from Langley to Boston Bar, then south to Tsawwassen and White Rock. On Friday September 20th the Langley Fine Arts School was able to show their own strong support to this incredible fundraising effort.
Why do these busy people take time away from family and work to trek 800kms? Because the impact of cancer on the life of a child and their family is devastating. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Cops for Cancer are used to fund life-saving research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes to reduce its impact.
Did you know Tour de Valley is turning 20 this year? To help us celebrate, Junior Member, Casey Wright, is raising $50,000 for Cops for Cancer. Donate today and make double the difference as it will be matched by generous community partners.
Here are some pictures of their visit.
